In the not-so-distant past, most of Baltimore’s day-to-day shopping was done at the local markets—Cross Street, Broadway, Lexington and others. The markets were the heart and soul of this city. Yet today, with an influx of grocery choices from bulk to gourmet, are they still relevant?
