Ravens Host TEAM Challenge on Monday at Banner Field in Locust Point

Baltimore Ravens Release:

This Monday (10/17), the Baltimore Ravens will host their fifth annual Ravens TEAM Challenge at Under Armour’s Banner Field at Latrobe Park as part of the 2016 NFL/United Way Hometown Huddle. Approximately 150 local youth will test their endurance and skill by working as a team in order to complete various physical activities. At the end of the event, one team will be declared the TEAM Challenge champions based on total points accumulated.

Under the guidance of Playworks Maryland, fourth-and fifth-grade students from Dr. Carter G. Woodson Elementary and George Washington Elementary (Baltimore, Md.) will participate in activities such as kickball, dodgeball, ultimate football and a series of relays. In addition, each student will receive a new pair of sneakers, provided by Under Armour.

Ravens players, including members of the 2016 Rookie Class, will join Ravens cheerleaders, mascot Poe and approximately 50 volunteers (from United Way, M&T Bank and Under Armour) in facilitating the event.
