Hi, I’m Arod! I’m an affectionate, sweet, happy 2-year-old pup who will make an awesome sidekick. I can walk nicely on leash and I know basic commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “down,” and I can’t wait to learn more tricks! I am very smart and eager to please. I’m also so handsome! Come to BARCS to meet me today!
Hi, I’m 2 year old Diesel! I may be a big boy, but the folks here say I’m a gentle teddy bear. I’m very excited when it’s time to go for a walk, but once I get outside I walk very well on the leash. I’m also content to just sit with you and get some pets. I sit beautifully for treats. Please come to BARCS to meet me today!
Zora is a dream! This 3 year old boy so sweet and happy to do whatever his handler is up for! He walks well on leash, and loves sniffing and exploring his surroundings. He’s an expert at cuddling, too. He is content to just sit right next to you for all the pets and kisses in the world. Zora can also be a goofy little clown. On walks he will pick up whatever toys are laying around and roll around on his back with them. Please come to BARCS to meet him today!
Adopting a shelter dog is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations. If you would like to meet these pups, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230. For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi. BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm. Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.
For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the website. If you are interested in fostering, please contact email@example.com. If you cannot adopt or foster the dogs but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
