South Baltimore Robbery and Arrest Updates

Baltimore Police Southern District Major Brian Hance provided the following updates last week:

Update #1

On August 20, 2015 at approximately 12:55 am, a woman was approached in the 1800 block of Light St. and robbed of her car keys and vehicle (2010 White Honda Accord; last four digits of license plate: 0048). Currently there are increased patrols in the area. One suspect was armed with a knife. The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1: Black male, athletic build, 5’6”, white T-shirt, dark colored jeans, baseball cap brandishing a knife

Suspect #2: Black male, 5’6”, athletic build, black T-shirt, dark colored shorts, between the age of 18-22

Update #2

On August 19, 2015,  two women were robbed in the 900 block of Riverside Ave. The suspects were not armed. The description of the robbers is as follows:

Suspect #1: Black male, dark complexion,  5’10″, wearing a baseball hat, dark shirt, and dark pants, and approximately age of 20-25

Suspect #2: Black male, wearing a red shirt and jeans with hat

The suspects were operating a white four-door sedan.

We have increased patrol in the area.

Update #3

There was a robbery pattern in Federal Hill a couple weeks ago. The Southern District officers and detectives are working to keep your community safe.

The below listed arrests were made in the last couple of weeks for incidents in the community:

Two males who committed robberies at the following locations:

414 E. Clement

1200 Battery

1200 Light St.

Two additional males who committed street robberies at the following locations:

1300 S. Hanover

1300 S. Charles
