If I don’t gamble, what other kinds of entertainment does the casino offer?

You don’t have to gamble to enjoy a great time at Horseshoe Baltimore. We host exceptional bands and DJs every day of the week at 14Forty, our multi-story centerpiece entertainment venue that serves up cocktails and fun around the clock. We also offer line dancing, salsa dancing, wine tastings and even a live weekly gameshow at the casino featuring Baltimore legend Richard Sher. On select Orioles games and all Ravens game days, we organize the city’s best tailgate parties inside and on our entertainment plaza, complete with live music and great food and drink specials. We host Las Vegas style entertainment like the Chippendales and amateur boxing not to mention A-List concerts like Sara Evans and Dru Hill. So no matter what your interest, chances are we have something for you.

What kind of casino games does Horseshoe Baltimore feature?

We have 2,200 of the industry’s most popular slot and video poker machines and nearly 200 table games, including blackjack, roulette, craps, big 6, mini-baccarat and midi-baccarat. We also have the area’s only World Series of Poker-branded poker room and host the state’s only World Series of Poker Circuit Event. While Horseshoe Baltimore is a smoke-free facility, it is the only casino in Maryland to feature outdoor gaming where you can also smoke freely. In addition, we offer off-track betting, with 33 individual carrels, automatic betting stations, 11 large-screen TVs and a full-service bar.

Do you host any kind of special tournaments for slots and table games players?

We host a wide range of unique gaming events. This spring, we hosted the first World Series of Poker Circuit Event in Maryland, attracting thousands of players from 38 states and paying out more than $2 million in total prize money. This summer, we are hosting the $500,000 Horseshoe Challenge, where we are holding daily Craps Tournaments in June, weekend Baccarat tournaments in July and daily Blackjack tournaments in August. In addition to the daily tournament prizes, the winner from each daily tournament receives an automatic entry into the finale tournament where the prize pool ranges from $125,000 to $250,000.

What is Total Rewards and what are the benefits of joining the program?

We have penny slots and offer $10 Blackjack 24 hours a day, seven days a week in addition to $500-per-play slot machines and private gaming areas where guests can place the industry’s highest wagers.

What does your summer entertainment lineup look like?

We have a full range of entertainment options. From Latin-inspired acoustic guitars at Johnny Sánchez to headline entertainment on the Entertainment Plaza, you are bound to find something that you enjoy. We currently have acts booked such as Sara Evans, Dru Hill, 112, Color Me Badd, Jagged Edge, and the Chippendales.

How many dining options are there at the casino?

We offer a total of nine dining venues, including three premium restaurants – Johnny Sánchez, Jack Binion’s Steak and Guy Fieri’s Baltimore Kitchen & Bar. We have the largest celebrity chef presence of any casino in the region. Johnny Sánchez is the first collaboration of John Besh and Aarón Sánchez, longtime friends known for their world-class cuisine and prominent roles on popular television shows. Duff Goldman, owner of Charm City Cakes and star of the Food Network’s “Duff Till Dawn,” “Kids Baking Championship” and “Ace of Cakes,” provides custom desserts at Jack Binion’s Steak. And Guy Fieri, the chef, restaurateur, Emmy Award winning TV host and New York Times bestselling author, operates two venues at the casino. In addition to Guy’s Fieri’s Baltimore Kitchen & Bar, he recently introduced Guy’s Bar-B-Que joint in the casino’s Baltimore Marketplace. The Baltimore Marketplace also features Lenny’s Delicatessen, Pie-zzetta, Tark’s and Heavy Seas Burgers. The casino is also home to Ruby 8 Noodles and Sushi.

Is the weekend the best time to visit, or is there midweek entertainment also?

Since Horseshoe Baltimore is open 24 hours per day seven days per week, the fun and entertainment is nonstop. If you’d like to take in line dancing or our gameshow – People Are Winning – you’ll want to be here on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. But the weekends are always a great time to have dinner at one of our great venues and then enjoy cocktails and live musical entertainment as you decide which of our thousands of games you want to play.
