Unknown-1Banana

Meow, my name is Banana.  I am a total lover! I am a big hunky 2yo orange tabby who loves attention.  I LOVE to play with just about any toy you give me –  I will even catch little toys that you throw in midair!  Once playtime has tuckered me out I’m ready for a serious snuggle session and would love to curl up with you.  I’d be great with other kitties and maybe even a dog too. Please come meet me, you’ll want to take me home!    http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Cat-Domestic-Shorthair-21006438

Unknown-2Nala

Hi, I’m Nala and, yes, my pale green eyes are gorgeous – thanks for noticing (but, really, how could you miss them?). I’m a petite gal, but all grown up at 3 years old. I’m partial to being an only cat – I want you all to myself! Even though I’m svelte, I’m a bit of a couch potato – I just want to be with you and keep you company. I’m quiet, clean, love to be petted and snuggled, and, of course, I’m beautiful!  Check out my mittens!    http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Cat-Domestic-Shorthair-20716535

Filippo & Pancho

Hi there, my name is Filippo and I am a gentle, sweet, and handsome Tuxedo-wearing guy! I came to BARCS with my orange brother Pancho so we could find our forever homes.  We are both 2 years old and have lived with other cats, dogs, and human friends, and love ALL of them! I’m the chill guy of the bunch, I love to be pet and have my chin scratched, and I enjoy lounging and hanging out with my buddies.  .  Pancho is more outgoing and silly – in fact, he gives me baths which is so funny to watch, but I secretly like it.    What we really want now is a furever home with a loving family – could that be you? We would do great in a home with other cats or nice dogs.   We would love to go home together but would be ok in separate homes too.   Please come meet us BARCS today! http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Cat-Domestic-Shorthair-20758244 & http://www.petango.com/Adopt/Cat-Domestic-Shorthair-20758238

Adopting a shelter cat is truly saving a life. The shelters cannot save animals without support from the community in the form of adoptions, fostering, volunteering and donations.  If you would like to meet these kitties, please visit the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS), located at 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD. 21230.  For directions: http://goo.gl/maps/rndi.  BARCS is open to the public Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.  Please visit their website at www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org to see these and other wonderful animals waiting hopefully for their forever homes.

For information about volunteering for BARCS, please contact Joe at JMiletti@barcsanimalshelter.org or visit the website.  If you are interested in fostering, please contact foster@baltimoreanimalshelter.org.  If you cannot adopt or foster the cats but would like to help them on their quest to find a forever family, please share their story via social media or donate through the BARCS website.
